Nvoicepay Customers Migrate Off Paper, Dramatically Reduce AP Costs

  • February 25, 2014

February 25, 2014 — Portland, Ore.  — Migrating off paper-based accounts payables remains one of the top priorities among CFOs, AP and finance professionals today. Nvoicepay, a leader in simple B2B ePayments, today announced new customers including Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, VCC, Washington Federal, Nuss Truck Group and Arkansas Federal Credit Union among a growing list of highly-efficient organizations leveraging Nvoicepay ePayment services to eliminate paper checks, improve efficiencies and reduce AP costs.

“Migrating off paper-based payment processes has dramatic, long lasting benefits to the bottom line,” said Karla Friede, CEO of Nvoicepay. “Nvoicepay customers see AP costs drop about 80 percent. And, the process of moving to ePayments is an easy one, taking only a few hours.”

Nvoicepay combines a simple-to-use cloud-based invoice payment application with best-in-class supplier information services. Nvoicepay solutions work with any accounting system to enable electronic payment of business invoices, eliminating paper checks, increasing AP efficiencies, reducing costs, and generating card-based cash rebates.

“Moving to paperless payables to reduce costs and improve efficiencies is a top priority for our accounting department,” said Lisa Waldrup, accounting manager at Arkansas Federal Credit Union. “With Nvoicepay, we’ve dramatically reduced the volume of paper checks from hundreds per week to only one or two a week. As a result, we’ve cut thousands of dollars in processing costs and our accounting team now has a higher level of visibility and control into the payment process that helps us work more efficiently.”

Nuss Truck Group utilizes Nvoicepay’s solution to streamline processes, reduce costs and earn rebates. According to Bradley S. Nuss, executive vice president and CFO of Nuss Truck Group, “The amount of time we’re saving since implementing is more than paying for the solution. Our AP coordinator no longer has to complete the manual paperwork process, which not only included processing each payment in the dealer management system, but also meant stuffing envelopes, applying postage, and gathering the mail.”

Easy Transition to ePayments

Nvoicepay polled 264 customers in January. Survey participants ranked the Nvoicepay implementation process as “easy” or “very easy” and were up and running in less than 12 hours. Additionally, survey participants said it took their team just one hour to learn Nvoicepay ePayments.
